Maintain windows network for print shop and, maintained window servers, mac & pc graphic workstations.
Began in Web Administration and added IT roll after two years with NML. Maintenance and design of three web sites for national four color printing and mailing services company. Sites include one
E-commerce front door for digital job processing and on line ordering of traditional printing, and two for internal divisions dealing in traditional printing and mailing. Of the latter two, one is a new site in design and programming the other is an updated and retooling of a pre-existing design. Duties include scripted order forms in (PHP and editing ones previously written with JavaScript). Lots of design and web programming, managing email accounts, form mail, general maintenance and some ad writing.

Maintenance and design of Special Events Web site--daily editing and maintenance for company's Online Yellow Pages. Contibuting template designs and compiling company's pricing policies for their new hosting division--gaysouthfloridahosting.com. I had daily input into the development and implimentation of the new ASP version of the company's web site including translating static listing pages into database format. In addition as a member of the company, which itself is a team effort, I also pitched in when the print division needed help designing customer Ads (for yellow pages), and in issues involving customer concerns.

Setup and processing Quark, PageMaker, Ventura and Multiset jobs; photographic and line art retouching/clean-up for 4/color and b/w reproduction; layout and design. Font customization for both Mac and PC use. Image and text scanning. Assisting clients in preparation of Desktop and Postscript files, both Western and Kanji for service bureau output. Creating generic conversion tables using Microsoft Basic and InterMedia/Mac software for any textfiles from any word processing system into all three platforms with customer desired attributes and the finest typographic quality. Moved to second shift production and design in type/ graphic/ computer services house as markup Specialist. Prepared manuscripts for keyboarding. Involved in media conversions using InterMedia software. Designed coding structures for clients keyboarding on their own computer systems for conversion to and outputing from USL’s Multiset Front-end system before the advent of desktop publishing. Began as a customer service representative on second shift. Job involved heavy customer contact, design and layout, type identification. Job processing using order entry program. Time estimating.
